The new interface looks awesome. Best of all though is that the upgrade is not just cosmetic. Having originally started with a strong focus on indie clothing, I Am The Trend has gone on to encompass music and art, which now receive more focus, along with a whole host of other products. All in a cleaner, easy to navigate interface.

The new site also includes it’s very own forum, which allows users to sign in using Facebook Connect, which I can see being a big thing in forums over the next year. I Am The Trend has always been a great site, but with this latest update there’s even more reason to add your site. Or just browse for some cool indie discoveries.

There is yet another visual t-shirt directory on the block, but I have to say, this is one of the better ones. Too many of these online t-shirt showcase sites crop up that are heavily weighted by affiliate referral links, or that get swamped by cafepress designs. Rumplo, however, focuses on t-shirts designed and printed by independent t-shirt artists.

As well as being a place for artists to upload their t-shirt designs, Rumplo also has a strong community element, allowing users to subscribe to their favorite designers, tags and topics as well as comment on and bookmark the designs they love as favorites.
